*** Special thanks to the awesome Richie dela Merced for letting us shoot at their home, and for letting me use his gear (yet again)!

This was taken two nights ago, the very day that the earthquake and tsunami hit Japan. I do love Japan, and am heavily influenced by their culture, as is obvious from all of my work, and even though I have never been there, I feel like it's already become a huge part of myself. Seeing images of the disaster all over the news just breaks my heart.

My thoughts go out to everyone who was affected by the incident. To those in Japan, ganbare! I do truly know and believe that Japan is a strong nation, and that they'll be able to pull through this. Be strong everyone, and have faith! Pray.

Damn wish I'd seen this earlier! Such a crisp and stunning photo that really takes nothing away from the beautiful model, and compliments her in the most.
